Toasted Ravioli Ingredients

Method

Cooking Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Breading Station

Set up a breading station with three shallow bowls. In the first bowl, place the flour. In the second bowl, beat the eggs. In the third bowl, combine the bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.

  2. 2

    Bread the Ravioli

Dip each ravioli into the flour, shaking off the excess. Next, dip it into the beaten eggs, allowing any excess to drip off. Finally, coat the ravioli in the bread crumb mixture, pressing gently to ensure the crumbs stick. Set aside on a plate.

  3. 3

    Heat the Oil

In a large, deep skillet or frying pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C). You can check the temperature with a thermometer or by dropping a small piece of bread into the oil; it should sizzle immediately.

  4. 4

    Fry the Ravioli

Carefully add the breaded ravioli to the hot oil in batches, being cautious not to overcrowd the pan. Fry for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy. Use a slotted spoon to transfer the cooked ravioli to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

  5. 5

    Serve

Serve the toasted ravioli hot with the house marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
