Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken Wings

Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

    Coat the Wings

In a large bowl, combine all-purpose flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Toss the wings in the mixture until they are evenly coated.

Frying

  1. 3

    Heat the Oil

In a large pot or deep fryer, heat oil to 350°F (175°C).

  2. 4

    Fry the Wings

Carefully add the coated chicken wings to the hot oil in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Fry for about 10-12 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.

  3. 5

    Drain the Wings

Remove the wings from the oil and drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.

Saucing

  1. 6

    Toss in Sauce

If desired, toss the fried wings in your choice of buffalo sauce, house BBQ sauce, or house dry rub until well coated.

Serving

  1. 7

    Plate the Wings

Serve the wings hot with celery sticks and your choice of ranch or blue cheese dressing on the side.
