Pork Chop

Bourbon-Blood-Orange Glaze

Broccolini

Method

Pork Chop

  1. 1

    Prepare Pork Chops

Season the pork chops with salt and black pepper on both sides.

  2. 2

    Sear the Pork Chops

In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the pork chops and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side until browned.

Bourbon-Blood-Orange Glaze

  1. 3

    Make the Glaze

In a saucepan, combine bourbon, blood orange juice, brown sugar, soy sauce, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Bring to a boil and then reduce heat to simmer for about 10-15 minutes until thickened.

  2. 4

    Glaze the Pork Chops

Once the glaze is ready, brush it over the seared pork chops and transfer the skillet to the oven. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for about 10-15 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).

Crispy Potatoes

  1. 5

    Prepare Potatoes

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). In a bowl, toss the halved baby potatoes with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and chopped rosemary.

  2. 6

    Roast Potatoes

Spread the potatoes on a baking sheet in a single layer. Roast in the oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until golden and crispy, turning halfway through.

Broccolini

  1. 7

    Sauté Broccolini

In a separate skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the broccolini and sauté for about 5-7 minutes until tender. Season with salt to taste.
