Lobster Tail

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

  2. 2

Using kitchen shears, carefully cut the top shell of the lobster tails down the center, stopping just before the tail fin.

  3. 3

Gently pull apart the shell to expose the meat and slightly lift the lobster meat from the shell.

  4. 4

Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet, meat side up.

Butter Mixture

  1. 5

In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.

  2. 6

Add minced garlic to the melted butter and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

  3. 7

Stir in lemon juice, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

Baking

  1. 8

Brush the garlic butter mixture generously over the exposed lobster meat, allowing some to seep into the shell.

  2. 9

Bake the lobster tails in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the meat is opaque and cooked through.

  3. 10

Once cooked, remove from the oven and garnish with freshly chopped parsley.

Serving

  1. 11

Serve the lobster tails hot with additional lemon wedges and melted butter on the side.
