Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Brew the Espresso

Start by brewing a fresh shot of espresso using your espresso machine. Aim for a rich and bold flavor.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Cold Foam

In a small container, use a milk frother or a whisk to froth cold milk until it reaches a light and airy foam consistency. This should take about 1-2 minutes.

  3. 3

    Mix the Carajillo

In a serving glass, combine 1 oz of Licor 43 with the freshly brewed espresso. Stir gently to mix the two ingredients together.

  4. 4

    Add the Cold Foam

Carefully spoon the cold foam over the espresso and Licor 43 mixture to create a layered effect.

  5. 5

    Finish with Chocolate Bitters

Add 2 dashes of chocolate bitters on top of the cold foam for a rich flavor enhancement.
