Tiramisu Ingredients

Method

Preparation Steps

1

Prepare Espresso

Brew 1 cup of espresso coffee and let it cool. If desired, add the coffee liqueur to the espresso.

2

Whip Cream

In a large mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.

3

Mix Mascarpone

In another bowl, combine mascarpone cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.

4

Combine Mixtures

Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until fully incorporated.

5

Soak Lady Fingers

Quickly dip each lady finger into the cooled espresso, ensuring they are soaked but not soggy.

6

Layer Tiramisu

In a rectangular dish, layer half of the soaked lady fingers, followed by half of the mascarpone mixture. Repeat the layers.

7

Chill

Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.

8

Serve

Before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder and cut into squares.
