Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Mussels

Rinse the mussels under cold water, scrubbing the shells to remove any debris. Discard any mussels that are open and do not close when tapped.

  2. 2

    Sauté Garlic

In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.

  3. 3

    Add White Wine

Pour in the white wine and bring to a simmer. Allow it to cook for 2-3 minutes to reduce slightly.

  4. 4

    Cook Mussels

Add the cleaned mussels to the pot. Cover and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the mussels have opened.

  5. 5

    Add Cream and Herbs

Once the mussels are open, stir in the heavy cream, chopped parsley, thyme, salt, and black pepper. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until combined and heated through.

  6. 6

    Serve

Remove from heat and serve immediately in bowls, spooning the creamy broth over the mussels.
