Method

Prepare the Ribeye

  1. 1

Make Double-Butter Mashed Potatoes

  1. 2

    Cook and Mash

Peel and chop the potatoes. Boil in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain and mash with butter, heavy cream, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until smooth.

Grill the Asparagus

  1. 3

    Prepare and Grill

Trim the asparagus and toss with olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Grill on medium-high heat for about 5-7 minutes until tender and slightly charred.

Make Marchand de Vin Sauce

  1. 4

    Simmer and Reduce

In a saucepan, sauté shallots in butter until translucent. Add red wine and beef stock, then simmer until reduced by half. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Prepare Black Garlic Butter

  1. 5

    Mix Ingredients

In a bowl, mix softened butter with minced black garlic, parsley, and salt. Form into a log and refrigerate until firm.
