Method

Burger Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Mayo

In a small bowl, mix the Dukes mayonnaise, lemon juice, and garlic powder until well combined. Set aside.

  2. 2

    Form the Patties

Divide the ground beef into two equal portions and form each into a patty. Make them slightly larger than the buns as they will shrink while cooking.

  3. 3

    Cook the Patties

Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes on one side, then flip and place two slices of American cheese on each patty. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the cheese is melted and the patties are cooked to your preferred doneness.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Burgers

Spread the lemon garlic mayo on the bottom half of each brioche bun. Place a cheeseburger patty on each bun, top with habagardil pickles, and finish with the top half of the bun.

  5. 5

    Serve

Serve the smashed double cheeseburgers hot with a side of fries.
