Prepare the Crust
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish and set aside.

Make the Filling
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, light corn syrup, melted unsalted butter, bourbon, and vanilla extract. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.

Add Pecans
Fold in the pecans into the filling mixture.

Pour and Bake
Pour the filling into the prepared pie crust and spread it evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, or until the filling is set and the top is golden brown.

Prepare Whipped Cream
While the pie is cooling, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.

Slice the pie and serve it with a dollop of whipped cream and candied pecans on top.
