Preparation
- 1
Cook the Bacon
In a large skillet over medium heat, add the bacon slices and cook until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the bacon from the skillet and place on a paper towel to drain excess fat. Once cooled, chop into small pieces.

Cooking the Rice
- 3
Combine Ingredients
In a medium saucepan, combine the chicken broth, turmeric, salt, and black pepper. Bring to a boil.
- 4
Add Rice
Once the broth is boiling, add the long-grain white rice. Stir well and reduce the heat to low. Cover the saucepan and let it simmer for about 15-20 minutes, or until the rice is cooked and has absorbed all the liquid.
