Prepare the Marinade

Mix the Marinade
In a large mixing bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of paprika, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 0.5 teaspoons of black pepper. Whisk until all ingredients are well blended.

Add Hot Sauce
Stir in 2 tablespoons of hot sauce into the marinade mixture, ensuring that it's evenly distributed.
Marinate Chicken Wings

Coat the Wings
Add the 6 pieces of chicken wings into the bowl with the marinade. Toss the wings in the marinade until they are fully coated.

Cover the bowl and let the wings marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.
Cook the Wings

Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Arrange Wings
Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top. Arrange the marinated chicken wings in a single layer on the rack.

Bake the wings in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, turning halfway through, until they are crispy and golden brown.

Once cooked, remove the wings from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. Serve them hot with ranch dressing on the side for dipping if desired.
