Method

Steak Preparation

  1. 1

    Marinate the Steak

Rub the ribeye steaks with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and fresh rosemary. Ensure the steaks are evenly coated. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes at room temperature.

  2. 2

    Grill the Steak

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the marinated steaks for about 5-7 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness. Remove from the grill and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

French Fries Preparation

  1. 3

    Prepare the Potatoes

Wash and peel the russet potatoes. Cut them into even sticks, about 1/4 inch thick. Rinse the cut potatoes in cold water to remove excess starch and pat them dry with paper towels.

  2. 4

    Fry the Potatoes

In a large pot, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C). Add the dried potato sticks in batches, being careful not to overcrowd the pot. Fry for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Sprinkle with salt while still hot.
