Method

Egg Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Egg

In a non-stick skillet over medium heat, crack the fresh XL egg and cook it to your desired doneness (sunny-side up, over-easy, scrambled, etc.). Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Meat Preparation

  1. 2

    Cook the Meat

In the same skillet (after the egg is done), cook your choice of meat: for bacon, fry until crispy; for sausage, cook until browned; for ham, just heat through for a minute on each side.

Cheese Melting

  1. 3

    Melt the Cheese

Place the cheese slice (cheddar or Swiss) on top of the meat while it's still in the skillet, allowing it to melt slightly.

Bread Preparation

  1. 4

    Toast the Bread

Toast your choice of bread (English muffin, sourdough, or bagel) in a toaster or on a grill until golden brown.

Wedge Fries Preparation

  1. 5

    Cook the Wedge Fries

Cook the frozen wedge fries according to package instructions, typically in an oven at 220°C (425°F) for 20-25 minutes or until crispy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Assemble the Sandwich

  1. 6

    Build the Breakfast Sandwich

On the toasted bread, layer your cooked meat with melted cheese, followed by the cooked egg. Top with any additional condiments if desired (ketchup, mayonnaise, etc.). Serve warm with a side of wedge fries.
