Burger Components

Wedge Fries

Method

Preparing the Wedge Fries

  1. 1

    Cutting the Potatoes

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Wash the potatoes thoroughly and slice them into wedges.

  2. 2

    Seasoning the Fries

In a large bowl, toss the potato wedges with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and paprika until evenly coated.

  3. 3

    Baking the Fries

Spread the seasoned wedges in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown and crispy.

Cooking the Burger

  1. 4

    Forming the Patties

While the fries are baking, shape the ground beef into two equal-sized patties. Season with salt and pepper on both sides.

  2. 5

    Cooking the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy. Remove them from the pan and set aside, keeping the bacon fat in the skillet.

  3. 6

    Cooking the Patties

In the same skillet with the bacon fat, add the burger patties. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium doneness, or until your desired doneness is achieved.

  4. 7

    Adding Cheese

Place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty during the last minute of cooking to allow it to melt.

Cooking the Eggs

  1. 8

    Frying the Eggs

In the same skillet, crack the eggs and cook them to your liking (sunny side up, over easy, or scrambled). Season with salt and pepper.

Assembling the Burger

  1. 9

    Building the Burger

Place a burger patty on the bottom half of each bun, add two slices of crispy bacon, and top with the cooked egg. Place the top half of the bun over the egg.

Serving the Meal

  1. 10

    Serving the Burger and Fries

Serve the breakfast burger with a side of crispy wedge fries. Enjoy your delicious breakfast!
