Method

Prepare the Fries

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

  2. 2

    Cut the Potatoes

Wash and cut the potatoes into thin fries.

  3. 3

    Season the Fries

In a bowl, toss the cut potatoes with olive oil and salt to taste.

  4. 4

    Bake the Fries

Spread the seasoned fries on a baking sheet in a single layer and bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown.

Make the Burger Patty

  1. 5

    Mix Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix gently until just combined.

  2. 6

    Form Patties

Shape the mixture into two equal-sized patties.

  3. 7

    Cook the Patties

Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium doneness. Place a slice of cheese on each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.

Assemble the Burger

  1. 8

    Toast the Buns

In the same skillet or grill, toast the burger buns until golden brown.

  2. 9

    Layer the Ingredients

On the bottom half of each bun, place a lettuce leaf, followed by a cooked patty with melted cheese, tomato slices, ketchup, and mustard.

  3. 10

    Finish Assembly

Top with the other half of the bun. Serve immediately with the baked fries on the side.
