Method
Burger Patty
- 1
Prepare the Beef Mixture
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix gently with your hands until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.
- 2
Form the Patties
Divide the beef mixture into two equal portions and shape them into patties. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent them from puffing up while cooking.
Fries
- 3
Prepare the Potatoes
Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin strips to create fries. Rinse the cut fries under cold water to remove excess starch, then pat them dry with paper towels.
- 4
Heat the Oil
In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).
- 5
Fry the Potatoes
Carefully add the fries to the hot oil in batches, frying until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes per batch. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Season with salt to taste.
