Cook the Spaghetti
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Prepare the Meat Sauce
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onions, garlic, carrot, and celery. Sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.

Brown the Beef
Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.

Add Tomatoes and Wine
Stir in crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, red wine, salt, black pepper, and dried basil. Bring to a simmer.

Simmer the Sauce
Reduce heat to low and let the sauce simmer for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Serve the spaghetti topped with the Bolognese sauce and grated Parmesan cheese.
