Method
Preparing the Patties
- 1
Form the Patties
In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape into patties, making them slightly larger than the burger buns.
- 2
- 3
Add Cheese
After flipping the patties, place one slice of American cheese and one slice of pepperjack cheese on each patty. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the patties are cooked to your desired doneness.
Cooking the Bacon
- 4
Cook the Bacon
In a separate skillet, cook the bacon strips over medium heat until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
Assembling the Burger
- 5
Prepare the Buns
Toast the burger buns lightly on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.
- 6
Make the Sauce
In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, and hot sauce to create The Divide's unique sauce.
- 7
Assemble the Burger
Spread the prepared sauce on the bottom half of each bun. Place the cooked patties on top, followed by two strips of crispy bacon and dill pickle slices. Top with the other half of the bun.
