Marinate Chicken
In a bowl, combine the chicken breasts, teriyaki sauce, olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Make sure the chicken is well coated with the marinade. Cover and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

Prepare Grill
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. If using a grill pan, heat it on the stove over medium-high heat.

Grill the Chicken
Remove the chicken from the marinade (discard the marinade) and place it on the grill. Cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).

Add Cheese
During the last minute of cooking the chicken, place a slice of pepperjack cheese on each chicken breast to melt slightly.
Assembly

Assemble the Sandwich
Spread mayonnaise on the bottom half of each burger bun. Place a lettuce leaf on each bun, followed by the grilled chicken with melted cheese, a slice of grilled pineapple, and a couple of tomato slices. Top with the other half of the bun.

Serve the teriyaki chicken sandwiches warm and enjoy!
