Prepare the Tortillas
Cut each corn tortilla into 6 wedges to create triangular chips.

Heat the Oil
In a deep skillet or frying pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it shimmers.

Fry the Chips
Carefully add a handful of tortilla wedges to the hot oil. Fry for about 2-3 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, turning occasionally.

Drain the Chips
Using a slotted spoon, remove the chips from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

Season the Chips
Sprinkle with salt immediately after frying while the chips are still hot.

Mix Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped tomatoes, onion, jalapeño, and chopped cilantro.

Season the Salsa
Squeeze the juice of one lime over the mixture and add salt. Stir well to combine all ingredients.

Let the salsa sit for at least 15 minutes to allow flavors to meld before serving.
