Pasta Preparation

Cook the Pasta
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the penne pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Brown the Ground Beef
In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook until browned and no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat and set aside.

Add the Cheeses
Reduce heat to low and add the cheddar cheese and cream cheese to the thickened milk mixture. Stir until melted and smooth. Season with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
Combining Ingredients

Combine Pasta, Beef, and Sauce
Add the cooked penne pasta and browned ground beef to the cheese sauce. Stir well to combine and ensure everything is evenly coated in the sauce.

Serve the cheeseburger pasta hot, garnished with sliced green onions on top.
