Burger Patty

Toppings

Brown Gravy Sauce

Method

Prepare the Burger Patty

  1. 1

    Mix Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until well combined without overworking the meat.

  2. 2

    Form Patties

Divide the meat mixture into two equal portions and shape them into burger patties.

  3. 3

    Cook Patties

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach the desired doneness.

Prepare the Toppings

  1. 4

    Cook French Fries

Prepare the french fries according to package instructions, either by baking or frying until crispy.

Make the Brown Gravy Sauce

  1. 5

    Melt Butter

In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.

  2. 6

    Add Flour

Sprinkle the flour into the melted butter, whisking continuously for about 1-2 minutes until the mixture is golden brown.

  3. 7

    Add Beef Broth

Gradually add the beef broth while whisking to avoid lumps. Continue to cook until the gravy thickens, about 5-7 minutes.

  4. 8

    Season Gravy

Stir in the salt and black pepper to taste.

Assemble the Burger

  1. 9

    Assemble

Place a cooked burger patty on the bottom half of the burger bun. Top with a generous serving of french fries, a handful of cheese curds, and pour the hot brown gravy sauce over the top. Finish with the other half of the bun.
