Directions

1

Prepare the Bread

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Cut the French bread into cubes and spread them evenly in a greased baking dish.

2

Make the Custard Mixture

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, heavy cream, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon until well combined.

3

Combine and Soak

Pour the custard mixture over the bread cubes, pressing down gently to ensure all bread is soaked. Let it sit for about 30 minutes to absorb.

4

Bake the Pudding

Dot the top with butter and bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the custard is set.

5

Prepare the Whipped Mascarpone

In a separate bowl, combine the mascarpone cheese and powdered sugar. Whip until smooth and creamy.

6

Serve

Once baked, let it cool slightly. Serve warm topped with whipped mascarpone, mixed berries, and a generous drizzle of maple syrup.
