Mix the Ingredients
In a mixing glass, combine 2 oz of Woodford Reserve Bourbon, 0.5 oz of simple syrup, and 2 dashes of Angostura bitters.

Add Ice
Fill the mixing glass with ice and stir the mixture well for about 30 seconds until properly chilled.

Strain into Glass
Strain the mixture into a rocks glass filled with ice.

Garnish
Express the oils from the orange peel over the drink and drop it in as a garnish. Add the maraschino cherry on top.
