Method

Base Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.

  2. 2

    Mix Dry Ingredients

In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.

  3. 3

    Cream Butter and Sugar

In another bowl, cream the softened butter until smooth. Gradually add the sugar mixture and beat until fluffy.

  4. 4

    Add Eggs and Vanilla

Beat in the eggs one at a time, then add the vanilla extract and mix until combined.

  5. 5

    Combine Mixtures

Gradually add the dry mixture to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.

Filling Preparation

  1. 6

    Prepare Blueberry Filling

In a medium bowl, combine the fresh blueberries, brown sugar, lemon juice, cornstarch, and cinnamon. Toss gently to coat the blueberries evenly.
