Steak

Method

Steak

  1. 1

    Prepare the Steak

Remove the ribeye steaks from the refrigerator and let them come to room temperature for about 30 minutes. This ensures even cooking.

  2. 2

    Season the Steak

Pat the steaks dry with paper towels. Season both sides generously with salt and black pepper.

  3. 3

    Grill the Steak

Preheat the grill to high heat. Brush the grill grates with olive oil to prevent sticking. Place the steaks on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness is reached. Remove from the grill and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Fries

  1. 4

    Prepare the Potatoes

Wash and peel the russet potatoes. Cut them into thin strips, about 1/4-inch thick.

  2. 5

    Soak the Potatoes

Soak the cut potatoes in cold water for at least 30 minutes. This helps to remove excess starch and makes the fries crispier.

  3. 6

    Fry the Potatoes

Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or a large pot to 350°F (175°C). Drain the soaked potatoes and pat them dry with paper towels. Fry the potatoes in batches for about 4-5 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Season immediately with salt.

Steak Sauce

  1. 7

    Mix the Ingredients

In a small bowl, combine ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Stir until well blended.

  2. 8

    Serve

Serve the grilled ribeye steaks with a side of fries and a generous spoonful of the house-made steak sauce.
