Cooking Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Patties

In a large bowl, combine ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently and form into two equal patties.

  2. 2

    Cook the Burgers

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip them and add a slice of cheddar cheese on top. Cook for another 3-4 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the desired doneness is achieved.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Vegetables

While the burgers are cooking, slice the tomato and onion.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Burger

Toast the burger rolls lightly. Place the cooked patty with cheese on the bottom half of the roll, top with bacon jam, tomato slices, and onion. Close with the top half of the roll.

  5. 5

    Serve

Serve the burgers immediately with house cut fries on the side.
