Preparing the Chicken Wings
- 1
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- 2
Prepare the Wings
In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings, olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and cayenne pepper. Toss until the wings are evenly coated.
- 3
Bake the Wings
Spread the wings in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and golden brown.
- 4
Toss in Hot Sauce
Remove the wings from the oven and place them in a large bowl. Pour the hot sauce over the wings and toss until they are well coated.
Making the Blue Cheese Dressing
- 5
Combine Ingredients
In a mixing bowl, combine blue cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- 6
Mix Well
Using a fork or a whisk, mix the ingredients together until well combined and creamy. Adjust seasoning to taste.
- 7
Chill Before Serving
Refrigerate the dressing for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
