Brisket Preparation

Prepare the Rub
In a small bowl, mix together kosher salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and brown sugar.

Season the Brisket
Rub the mixture all over the brisket, ensuring an even coating. Drizzle with liquid smoke.

Refrigerate
Wrap the brisket in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.

Rest the Brisket
Remove from the smoker and let it rest for at least 30 minutes before slicing.
Coleslaw Preparation

Mix Ingredients
In a large bowl, combine shredded cabbage, shredded carrots, mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until combined.

Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.

Prepare Vegetables
Toss mixed vegetables with olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Roast in the oven at 400°F (200°C) for about 20 minutes or until tender.
