Burrito Assembly
Method
Brisket Preparation
Prepare the Brisket
Rub the brisket with olive oil, smoked paprika, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Ensure the brisket is evenly coated.
Cook the Brisket
Place the brisket in a slow cooker and add the beef broth. Cook on low for 8 hours or until the meat is tender and easily shredded.
Shred the Brisket
Once cooked, remove the brisket from the slow cooker and let it rest for 10 minutes. Shred the meat using two forks.
Burrito Assembly
Assemble the Burrito
Lay a tortilla flat and spread a layer of refried beans in the center. Add a generous portion of shredded brisket, followed by cheese, sour cream, guacamole, cilantro, and salsa.
Roll the Burrito
Fold the sides of the tortilla over the filling, then roll from the bottom up to enclose the filling completely. Repeat with remaining tortillas.
Serve
Cut the burritos in half and serve with additional salsa and sour cream on the side.
