Prepare the Croutons
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut the bread into small cubes and toss with olive oil, garlic powder, and salt. Spread on a baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes until golden and crispy.

Cook the Bacon
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the double smoked bacon until crispy. Drain on paper towels and crumble into pieces.

Fry the Basil
In a small pan, heat oil over medium heat. Once hot, fry the basil leaves until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Assemble the Salad

Prepare the Romaine Wedges
Cut the romaine lettuce heads into quarters. Arrange them on a serving platter.

Add Toppings
Drizzle Caesar dressing over the romaine wedges. Top with crumbled bacon, white anchovies, crouton crumbs, and fried basil.
