Cooking the Brisket
Prepare the Brisket
Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). In a small bowl, mix onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, brown sugar, salt, and black pepper. Rub this mixture all over the brisket.
Cook the Brisket
Place the brisket in a roasting pan and pour the beef broth around it. Cover the pan tightly with aluminum foil and bake for approximately 3-4 hours, or until the brisket is fork-tender.
