Prepare Tortilla Strips
Cut the corn tortillas into thin strips. Heat a pan over medium heat, add a little oil, and fry the tortilla strips until crispy. Set aside.

Make the Soup Base
In a blender, combine the tomatoes, onion, garlic, chipotle peppers, and vegetable broth. Blend until smooth.

Cook the Soup
In a large pot, pour the blended mixture and bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce heat and let it simmer for about 15 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Add Fresh Ingredients
Stir in the chopped cilantro and the juice of one lime into the soup just before serving.

Serve
Ladle the soup into bowls and top with crispy tortilla strips. Optionally, add more cilantro or lime wedges for garnish.
