Buffalo Wings Ingredients

Method

Buffalo Wings Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken Wings

Begin by washing the chicken wings under cold water. Pat them dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.

  2. 2

    Season the Wings

In a large bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Dredge the chicken wings in the flour mixture, ensuring they are evenly coated.

  3. 3

    Heat the Oil

In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C) over medium-high heat.

  4. 4

    Fry the Wings

Carefully add the coated chicken wings into the hot oil in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pot. Fry for about 10-12 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy.

  5. 5

    Prepare the Sauce

In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Add the buffalo sauce to the melted butter and stir until well combined. Remove from heat.

  6. 6

    Toss the Wings in Sauce

Once the wings are cooked, remove them from the oil and drain on paper towels. While still hot, place the wings in a large bowl and pour the buffalo sauce mixture over them. Toss until the wings are thoroughly coated.

  7. 7

    Serve

Arrange the buffalo wings on a serving platter. Serve with celery sticks and blue cheese dressing on the side for dipping.
