Frog Legs and Sauce

Method

Preparation and Cooking

  1. 1

    Prepare the Frog Legs

Rinse the frog legs under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

    Make the Breading

In a bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, cornmeal, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Egg Mixture

In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk.

  4. 4

    Breading the Frog Legs

Dip each frog leg into the egg mixture, then coat it in the flour mixture, ensuring a good layer of breading.

  5. 5

    Heat the Oil

In a deep skillet or fryer, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

  6. 6

    Fry the Frog Legs

Carefully add the breaded frog legs to the hot oil. Fry in batches for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy.

  7. 7

    Drain and Serve

Remove the fried frog legs from the oil and drain on paper towels. Serve hot with sweet Thai chile sauce on the side.
