Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Marinate the Steak

In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt. Rub this mixture all over the ribeye steak and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes at room temperature.

Cooking

  1. 2

    Prepare the Grill

Preheat the charbroiler or grill to high heat.

  2. 3

    Cook the Steak

Place the marinated ribeye steak on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare doneness. Adjust the time according to your preferred doneness.

Sides Preparation

  1. 4

    Prepare the Baked Potatoes

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Wash the potatoes, pierce them with a fork, rub them with olive oil, and sprinkle with salt. Bake for 45-60 minutes until tender.

  2. 5

    Prepare the Green Beans

In a pot of boiling water, blanch the green beans for about 3-4 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp. Drain and season with salt and pepper.

Serving

  1. 6

    Plate the Meal

Once the steak is cooked to your liking, allow it to rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve with baked potatoes and green beans on the side.
