Add Tomatoes and Seasonings
Pour in the canned crushed tomatoes and stir well. Add 1 teaspoon of dried oregano, 1 teaspoon of salt, black pepper to taste, and 1 teaspoon of sugar. Stir again to combine all ingredients.

Simmer the Sauce
Bring the sauce to a gentle simmer. Reduce the heat to low and let it cook for 15-20 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together. Stir occasionally.
