Cook the Fettuccine
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Prepare the Chicken
While the pasta is cooking, season the boneless, skinless chicken breasts with salt and black pepper on both sides.

Cook the Chicken
In a skillet over medium heat, heat the olive oil. Add the seasoned chicken breasts and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until the chicken is cooked through and no longer pink in the center. Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes before slicing into strips.

Add Cream and Cheese
Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is creamy. Add nutmeg, salt, and black pepper to taste.

Add the drained fettuccine pasta to the Alfredo sauce, tossing gently to coat the pasta evenly.

Place the sliced chicken on top of the Alfredo pasta. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
