Preparing the Bread

Slice the Baguette
Cut the baguette into 1/2 inch slices on a diagonal.

Toast the Bread
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Arrange the sliced baguette on a baking sheet and brush each slice with olive oil. Bake for about 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
Making the Topping

Prepare the Tomatoes
Dice the tomatoes and place them in a mixing bowl.

Add the Basil
Tear the fresh basil leaves into smaller pieces and add them to the bowl with the diced tomatoes.

Add Garlic and Seasoning
Minced the garlic cloves and add them to the tomato and basil mixture. Add balsamic vinegar, salt, and black pepper to taste. Mix well to combine all ingredients.
Assembling the Bruschetta

Top the Toasts
Remove the toasted bread from the oven and let it cool slightly. Spoon the tomato and basil mixture generously over each slice of toasted bread.

Serve
Serve immediately while the bread is still warm. Enjoy your bruschetta!
