Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Fritters

In a mixing bowl, combine the pimento cheese and flour until well mixed. Form the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.

  2. 2

    Coat the Fritters

In a separate bowl, beat the egg. Dip each pimento cheese ball into the egg, then roll in bread crumbs until fully coated.

  3. 3

    Heat the Oil

In a deep skillet or frying pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

  4. 4

    Fry the Fritters

Carefully place the coated pimento cheese balls into the hot oil and fry for about 3-4 minutes, or until they are golden brown. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.

  5. 5

    Serve

Serve warm with ranch dipping sauce.
