Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Rice

Start by cooking the seasoned rice according to the package instructions. Set aside once done.

  2. 2

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion, green bell pepper, and celery. Sauté for about 5 minutes until the vegetables are soft.

  3. 3

    Add Garlic and Spices

Stir in the minced garlic, Cajun seasoning, and bay leaves. Cook for an additional 2 minutes until fragrant.

  4. 4

    Combine with Tomatoes and Broth

Add the canned diced tomatoes (with juice) and chicken broth to the skillet. Bring to a simmer.

  5. 5

    Add Crawfish or Shrimp

Add the crawfish tails or shrimp to the skillet and stir well. Simmer for about 5-7 minutes until the seafood is cooked through. Adjust seasoning with hot sauce as desired.

  6. 6

    Serve

Remove the bay leaves and serve the crawfish or shrimp creole over the prepared seasoned rice.
