Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs and trim any excess fat.

  2. 2

    Make the Rub

In a bowl, combine brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Mix well to create a dry rub.

  3. 3

    Season the Ribs

Rub the spice mixture generously over the ribs, ensuring they are well coated.

  4. 4

    Bake the Ribs

Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with foil, meat side up. Cover with another sheet of foil and bake for 2.5 to 3 hours.

  5. 5

    BBQ Basting

Remove the ribs from the oven and uncover. Brush the BBQ sauce generously over both sides of the ribs.

  6. 6

    Finish on the Grill

Preheat a grill to medium heat. Grill the ribs for about 5-10 minutes on each side, basting with more BBQ sauce until caramelized and heated through.

  7. 7

    Serve

Let the ribs rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve with your choice of two sides.
