Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the seafood

In a large bowl, combine the crab meat, shrimp, mussels, and clams. Set aside.

  2. 2

    Chop vegetables

Dice the onion, red bell pepper, and green bell pepper. Set aside.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Sauté vegetables

In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and diced onions, sautéing for about 2 minutes until fragrant.

  2. 4

    Add bell peppers

Stir in the diced red and green bell peppers and continue to sauté for another 3-4 minutes until they start to soften.

  3. 5

    Add seafood

Add the seafood mixture to the pot. Stir gently to combine with the sautéed vegetables.

  4. 6

    Add liquids and seasonings

Pour in the white wine and vegetable broth. Sprinkle in the Old Bay seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.

  5. 7

    Cook seafood

Cover the pot and let the seafood cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the mussels and clams have opened and the shrimp are pink and cooked through.

  6. 8

    Finish with lemon juice

Remove the pot from heat. Stir in the lemon juice and chopped parsley just before serving.
