Method

Prepare the Shrimp

    Clean the Shrimp

    Rinse the shrimp under cold water, removing any shells and deveining if necessary. Pat dry with a paper towel.

    Season the Shrimp

    In a bowl, toss the cleaned shrimp with Old Bay seasoning until evenly coated.

Make the Beer Butter

    Melt the Butter

    In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter until fully liquid.

    Add Ingredients

    Stir in the beer, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper into the melted butter. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through and well combined.

Cook the Shrimp

    Boil Water

    Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil over high heat.

    Cook Shrimp

    Add the seasoned shrimp to the boiling water. Cook for 2-3 minutes or until they turn pink and opaque. Remove from heat and drain.

Serve

    Plate the Shrimp

    Arrange the cooked shrimp on a platter. Serve immediately with warm beer butter sauce on the side for dipping.
