Method

Prepare the Lobster

  1. 1

    Clean the Lobster

Rinse the lobsters under cold water to remove any debris. Using a sharp knife, carefully split the lobsters in half lengthwise.

  2. 2

    Make Garlic Butter

Melt the unsalted butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Add the minced garlic cloves and sauté for about 2 minutes until fragrant. Stir in the lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Remove from heat.

Grill the Lobster

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, about 375°F (190°C).

  2. 4

    Baste and Grill

Place the lobsters shell-side down on the grill. Baste generously with the garlic butter using a brush. Grill for about 8-10 minutes until the meat is opaque and slightly charred.

Prepare the Corn

  1. 5

    Boil Corn

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the corn on the cob and cook for about 5-7 minutes until tender. Remove and drain.

  2. 6

    Add Butter

Spread 2 tablespoons of butter over the hot corn and sprinkle with salt to taste.

Serve

  1. 7

    Plate the Dish

Serve the grilled lobster halves with drawn butter on the side, lemon wedges, and the buttered corn on the cob.
