Cooking the Crab

Prepare the Pot
In a large pot, add the 4 cups of water and 1 tablespoon of sea salt. Bring the water to a rolling boil over high heat.

Cook the Crab
Once the water is boiling, carefully add the Dungeness crab clusters to the pot. Cover and let them cook for about 6-8 minutes, or until they turn bright orange.

Drain and Cool
Using tongs, carefully remove the crab clusters from the water and place them in a colander to drain. Allow them to cool for a few minutes before serving.

In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the 1 cup of unsalted butter.
