Method
Preparing the Seafood

Steam the Lobster
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the lobster and cover. Steam for about 15-20 minutes until the lobster is bright red and cooked through.

Prepare the Steamers and Mussels
Soak the steamers in cold water for 30 minutes to help them purge sand. Rinse thoroughly. For the mussels, scrub the shells and remove any beards.

Cook Corn on the Cob
In the same pot, add the corn on the cob to boiling water and cook for 5-7 minutes until tender. Remove and drain.
Making the Coleslaw

Combine Coleslaw Ingredients
In a large bowl, mix the shredded cabbage, grated carrots, mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper. Toss well until everything is evenly coated.

Chill the Coleslaw
Cover the coleslaw with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.
Serving the Clambake

Assemble the Clambake
On a large serving platter, arrange the lobster, steamers, mussels, potatoes, and corn. Serve the coleslaw on the side.
