Caesar Salad Recipe
Romaine lettuce, croutons, parmesan, and house-made dressing. Dressing contains anchovies. Option to add protein and/or anchovy.

Method
Prepare the Salad Base

Wash and Chop Lettuce
Rinse the romaine lettuce under cold water. Pat dry with a paper towel and chop into bite-sized pieces.

Add Croutons
In a large salad bowl, add the chopped romaine lettuce and the croutons.

Add Parmesan
Sprinkle the grated parmesan cheese over the salad base.
Make the Caesar Dressing

Blend Ingredients
In a blender or food processor, combine the anchovy fillets, minced garlic, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Blend until smooth.

Emulsify Dressing
With the blender running, slowly drizzle in the olive oil until the dressing is smooth and emulsified.
Combine and Serve

Dress the Salad
Pour the Caesar dressing over the salad base in the bowl. Toss gently to coat the lettuce and croutons evenly.

Add Optional Protein
If desired, top the salad with sliced grilled chicken breast or cooked shrimp.

Serve
Serve immediately, garnished with additional parmesan cheese if desired.
