Method

Preparation

  1. 1

Fill a large pot with 4 cups of water and add 1 tsp of salt. Bring the water to a rolling boil over high heat.

  2. 2

While waiting for the water to boil, prepare the garlic by peeling and mincing the 4 cloves.

  3. 3

Cut the lemon in half and set aside for serving.

  4. 4

Once the water is boiling, add the Alaskan King Crab Legs to the pot. Make sure they are fully submerged.

Cooking

  1. 5

Cover the pot and let the crab legs cook for about 5-7 minutes. They are pre-cooked, so you are just reheating them.

  2. 6

While the crab legs are cooking, melt 1 cup of butter in a separate small saucepan over low heat.

  3. 7

Add the minced garlic to the melted butter and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

  4. 8

Stir in 2 tablespoons of Old Bay Seasoning and mix well.

  5. 9

Remove the crab legs from the boiling water and drain them well.

Serving

  1. 10

Place the crab legs on a serving platter.

  2. 11

Drizzle the garlic butter sauce over the crab legs.

  3. 12

Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve with lemon halves on the side.

  4. 13

Season with black pepper to taste before serving.
